Myanmar Biodiversity Fund (MBF) is Myanmar’s first independent Conservation Trust Fund (CTF).
The biodiversity resources of terrestrial, marine, and delta areas are well protected and managed by MBF. MBF endeavours to play a part in narrowing this funding gap and contribute to a steady flow of funds for biodiversity conservation. Internationally, there are 108 Conservation Trust Funds (CTF’s) established since the 1990’s, and the trend is growing globally.
