Google Analytics is a tool offered by Google through which we can measure what happens with all the traffic registered on a website. Google Analytics helps us understand the behavior of users who visit our website. Google Analytics Universal has been on the market for about 15 years and over time Google has made many changes to the platform.
Today, we got to discussing GA4. Starting July 1, 2023, Google Analytics Universal will no longer process data & will no longer track website traffic. For this reason, the specialists’ recommendation is to switch to GA4 as soon as possible in order to collect the data from the site in a timely manner. GA4 comes with a set of benefits. A major advantage is that GA4 comes preset with a set of events such as page views, scroll depth, or how many clicks redirect users to another site. Google Analytics 4 already comes bundled with these events, which in Google Analytics Universal we should have set manually. The GA4 platform is easy to use, simple and offers customization of reports.
We recommend you to implement GA4 as soon as possible and check the tracking and integration of GA4 with Google Ads!
