There are growing calls for the world’s development banks to prioritise poorer countries and help them deal with the impacts of climate change.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation says while investment in adaptation finance has increased, it is still not enough. This emerged at one of the COP-27 sessions in Egypt where climate talks are taking place in Sharm El Sheikh.
